then there are those who are it may seem visually in a comfortable pace and have excess to things that the striving ones need to get where they need to get,but they are so comfortable its hard to lend a helping hand because judging and looking down on others has become second nature,making comments like "its their fault they are poor they are lazy,i wonder why they dont do this and that etc"
but was it not you who turned them down when they asked you to print their cv and you told them you cant! yet you sitting next to a printer... lol people..
because i think if they could print for themselves they would have and saved themselves the embarrassed of asking and still be declined...
Im reminded of a scripture i once read proverbs ,"do not with hold good from those to whom it is due when it is in your power to do it,do not say to your neighbour go and come back tomorrow i will give it....to me it rings so profound right now,help with a dollar to catch a bus my last chance to an interview ive been waiting for....
I guess it would be easier and nicer for all of us to just lend a helping hand,spiritually,creatively ,material and mentally,how are we to apply each one help one in this modern time?If you can help help if you cant say so and move on.
I realise giving comes with sacrifice... cos in giving you this dollar I wont be able to get the sandwich I wanted or if i stop I maybe 2 min late for work or a smoke or or or or or or or or or!!!so many reasons why we shouldn't help yet so simple but elevating the affects of helping...
we all have the ability to discern maybe it may require abit more consciousness and you can sense the vibe the person is bringing...do they need help or are they taking you for a ride..power of discernment!!
to help someone i guess it also requires interests and has to be engaging...why do you want help from me?besides what they require how else can you help in relevance to them achieving the initial goal....just a thought
